Victorian Gold Scottish Dirk Tie Pin

A rare 9ct37.5% pure gold (or 375 parts pure gold and 625 parts other metals) gold tie pin featuring a dirk set with three citrines for the thistles. The gold has been beautifully engraved above and below the three thistles. I have never come across a tie pin like this before, although I have had many brooches. All our tie pins come with a stopper at the end of the pin.
