Victorian 18ct Gold, Royal Blue Enamel & Natural Pearl Stud Earrings

An attractive pair of 18ct75% pure gold (or 750 parts pure gold and 250 parts other metals) gold poat and scroll earrings that were made circa 1880. Each one has a natural pearlA pearl-bearing mollusc that has not been tampered with by man to produce a cultivated pearl will produce a ‘natural pearl’. in the centre with six shaped petals around it filled with Royal blue enamelA pigmented glass-like material used in powdered form and fused onto the metal surface of a piece of jewellery.. There is a fine black enamel line around each petal. These earrings can be worn on a daily basis as they sit comfortably on the earlobe.
