Victorian 18ct Gold, Five Stone Pink Sapphire Ring

A good heavy gage 18ct75% pure gold (or 750 parts pure gold and 250 parts other metals) gold ring that was made in London in 1888. It is a pleasing design and has been set with five well matched oval cut pink sapphires in a curve over the finger. It is a practical ring to wear as the pink sapphires have been set down in the ring so it feels smooth to the touch.
