A classically beautiful 18ct75% pure gold (or 750 parts pure gold and 250 parts other metals) gold locket that was made circa 1860-1880. It is a lovely criss cross design in Royal blue enamelA pigmented glass-like material used in powdered form and fused onto the metal surface of a piece of jewellery. set with rose diamonds with naturalA natural stone is called such because it has not been subjected to any treatments. split pearls in between. On the reverse is a glazed locket section with a lock of hair inside. This can easily be removed if wanted.
