An unusual 18ct75% pure gold (or 750 parts pure gold and 250 parts other metals) gold round locket that was made circa 1860-1880. It has an Earl’s coronet on one side with a monogram beneath. It is surrounded by a wreath of flowers. On the reverse are further flowers within another wreath. inside is a coloured photograph of a young boy who may have ben the young Earl.
