A very smart pair of VictorianJewellery made in the the Victorian era (1839-1901). earrings that were made circa 1860. They can be worn square on the ear or diagonal. They are 18ct75% pure gold (or 750 parts pure gold and 250 parts other metals) gold with rope and bobble detail, and have each been set with a banded sardonyx. The clever thing is in the cutting of the stones so that the white line is in the centre with matching symmetry. They look wonderful when worn.
