This necklace was made by the Danish designer Hermann Siersbol who opened his workshop in April 1945. He had a mission to make affordable quality jewellery in modern Scandinavian designs. He started with an investment of 2000 crowns which he had laid aside of his salary as a silversmith apprentice. His company has slowly become one of the largest silverA metallic element which is malleable and ductile, and white in colour, making it ideal for use in jewellery. It is usually mixed with copper to improve its hardness.
