A very good looking VictorianJewellery made in the the Victorian era (1839-1901). heavy gage 15ct62.5% pure gold (or 625 parts pure gold and 375 parts other metals). Popular during the Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco eras but was discontinued in the mid-1930s. gold ring that was made in Birmingham in 1873. It has been set with a bloodstoneA dark green to dark bluish-green variety of Chalcedony that is splattered with red or brown spots that resemble blood. The extent of the marking varies depending on the stone. Spots are favoured over larger stripes and markings. that can be engraved with a crest or monogram if wanted. The shankThe circle of metal that attaches to the decorative part of a ring and encircles the finger. is a great design with Y shapes on either side and engraved patterns. it is a wonderful looking ring.
