GeorgianJewellery made in the Georgian era (1714-1830). wedding bands are comparatively rare and this one is a good example. It was made circa 1820 and has stylised repousse leaves all around the bandA type of ring which is an equal width all the way round. They are traditionally used for wedding rings.
. I have listed the ring as being gold cased as often these rings have shellac which is a naturalA natural stone is called such because it has not been subjected to any treatments. resin inside to strengthen the gold work.
