French Belle Epoque 18ct Gold Woven Design Bracelet

A wonderful heavy gage 18ct75% pure gold (or 750 parts pure gold and 250 parts other metals) gold bracelet that was made in France circa 1910-1930. It is a closely woven design with a hidden tongue clasp. It has an added safety chainA small chain applied to a piece of jewellery with the purpose of adding additional security to prevent loss. On bracelets and necklaces a safety chain will often join the clasp ends should the clasp fail. On a brooch it is often attached to a small pin which is to be used in tandem with the main brooch pin. for extra security. This style is so easy to wear and looks really chic.
