A very stylish pair of 18ct75% pure gold (or 750 parts pure gold and 250 parts other metals) gold cufflinks that were made in France during the 1920s. They are inset with red enamelA pigmented glass-like material used in powdered form and fused onto the metal surface of a piece of jewellery.. This is known as “Champleve” technique. The gold is angled and canted on the corners. The whole design has been well thought out and is very effective when worn on a cuff.
