A pretty EdwardianJewellery made in the Edwardian era (1901-1914). 9ct37.5% pure gold (or 375 parts pure gold and 625 parts other metals) gold round locket that was assayed When the property or concentration of a precious metal is measured. in Chester circa 1910. The front has been engraved with stylised scrolls with a rectangular cartouche in the centre that you can engrave with initials or a name if wanted. The back has been engraved with leaves and flowers. It opens to reveal two compartments for photographs. We can remove the present incumbents if wished!
