An unusual 9ct gold bangle that has been set with five round cut peridots. In between are small diamonds within concave square settings. Peridot is named after the French word “peritot”, meaning gold, because the mineral can vary towards this colour. Peridot is the birthstone for the month of August. It is also the stone given to celebrate the 16th year of marriage. This bangle was made in Chester in 1911 and is as wearable now as it was over one hundred years ago.
