Edwardian 9ct Gold Back & Front Round Locket

A lovely round locket that was made circa 1910. It has been engraved with a leaf and scroll motif on the reverse. On the front is a plain heart shaped design with the same leaf and scroll motif around it. It is 9ct37.5% pure gold (or 375 parts pure gold and 625 parts other metals) back and front which means that the inner frames and hinges are metal for strength. Inside there are two frames that come out so that you can insert photographs then pop them back in to hold them.
