Edwardian 9ct Gold Back & Front Heart Locket With Paste Set Bow Motif

A pretty heart shaped locket with a bow motif set with blue and white pasteGlass made to resemble gem materials, which may be moulded, faceted, carved, etc. . It is 9ct37.5% pure gold (or 375 parts pure gold and 625 parts other metals) back and front which means that the hinges and inner rims are metal. The other parts are 9ct gold. A locket with this bow design worn close to the heart was a sign of being in love. It was made circa 1900-1910.
