Edwardian 9ct Back ​& Front Heart Shaped Locket With Star Motif

A pretty 9ct37.5% pure gold (or 375 parts pure gold and 625 parts other metals) gold back and front heart shaped locket with a central star setA gem that is deeply set, with its table scarcely rising above the surface of surrounding metal, having rays engraved as though coming from the gem which then appears as a star. with a diamondA precious, lustrous gemstone made of highly compressed carbon.
