A very pretty 9ct37.5% pure gold (or 375 parts pure gold and 625 parts other metals) gold back and front heart shaped locket that was made circa 1910. The term “9ct Back & Front” means that the front and back are 9ct gold and the inner frames and hinges are metal. It has a branch of flowers on one side set with red and white pasteGlass made to resemble gem materials, which may be moulded, faceted, carved, etc. . It opens to reveal two areas for photographs. What a lovely present to give to someone that you love.
