A charming tie pin that was made circa 1900-1910 of a chick. it is beautifully modelled and his body has been set with rose diamonds with a rubyOne of the most valuable gemstones on earth. From the corundum family, the red variety being ruby and the blue, sapphire. With the exception of the diamond, corundum is the hardest of the gemstones on the Mohs scale scoring a 9. eye. The use of a chick especially one newly hatched meant the birth of a child. All our tie pins come with a stopper at the end of the pin.
