Edwardian 15ct Gold & Platinum, Natural Pearl & Diamond Necklace In Original Case

A very pretty diamondA precious, lustrous gemstone made of highly compressed carbon. Diamonds are one of the hardest materials known to mankind. Colours of diamonds range from colourless, yellow, orange and brown to almost black. Natural coloured (or ‘fancy’) diamonds can be extremely rare. The cut, colour, clarity and carat weight of a diamond are the criteria jewellers use… necklace that was made circa 1900-1910. It is beautifully presented in the original case which is sea green leather with gold tooling. It was retailed by the well known firm William Bruford & Sons Ltd who were based in 132 Terminus Rd Eastbourne and also in Exeter and have traded since 1886.
