This is a wonderful heavy gage 15ct62.5% pure gold (or 625 parts pure gold and 375 parts other metals). Popular during the Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco eras but was discontinued in the mid-1930s. gold bracelet that was made circa 1910. It is composed of interlocking curb links with a rope motif on the outer sides. The tongue clasp is hidden so it is a continuous design. It has a safety chainA small chain applied to a piece of jewellery with the purpose of adding additional security to prevent loss. On bracelets and necklaces a safety chain will often join the clasp ends should the clasp fail. On a brooch it is often attached to a small pin which is to be used in tandem with the main brooch pin. for added security.
