Popular during the Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco eras but was discontinued in the mid-1930s. gold necklace that is a simple and striking looking design. It has been set with an oval shaped aquamarineAquamarine (from the Latin, “water from the sea”) is a blue variety of the mineral, beryl, of which emerald is the less durable but more prized green variety. Aquamarine was believed to protect sailors at sea and banish fear. with a small round aquamarine above. We also have some 15ct gold and aquamarine earrings that match this necklace. They were made circa 1910-1920.
