Art Deco Platinum Narrow French Cut Ruby Eternity Ring

A lovely narrow eternity bandA type of ring which is an equal width all the way round. They are traditionally used for wedding rings.

It has millgrained edges. This is when the edges of the platinum have been worked with a knurling tool to produce tiny beads, hence the French name “Millgrain” meaning a thousand beads. It was made circa 1920 when quite a few narrow bands such as this one were made and either worn on their own or stacked with other eternity bands.
