An unusual pair of 9ct37.5% pure gold (or 375 parts pure gold and 625 parts other metals) gold cufflinks with three engraved three leaf clovers on all four sides. The clover, called a âshamrockâ in Ireland is associated with Saint Patrick, Irelandâs patron saint, who is said to have used the plant as a metaphor for the Holy Trinity of the father, the son and the holy spirit. These cufflinks were made in Birmingham in 1905.
