A fine pair of 9ct37.5% pure gold (or 375 parts pure gold and 625 parts other metals) gold and enamelA pigmented glass-like material used in powdered form and fused onto the metal surface of a piece of jewellery. Royal presentation cufflinks that would have been given to a courtier or a noteworthy person from H.M.Queen Elizabeth II. Each cufflink has been enamelled in different colours with crowned ER II ciphers. They were made in Birmingham in 1971.
