An impressive 18ct white gold ring that was made in the 1980s. This style is known as a ballerina ring because of the tutu design. Ballerina clusters were first seen in the 1950s. Their creation involved meticulous precision and exactness in the cutting and setting of the gemstones to lie perfectly next to each other in order to achieve the movement of a ballerina. In the centre is a claw set sky blue sapphire that weighs approximately 2.15 carats. Around it are a mixture of claw set marquise and baguette cut diamonds that have a total estimated weight of 1.70 carats.
It looks really fantastic when worn.
