This is a classic engagement ring that was made in Birmingham in 1993 by Deakin & Frances. Founded in 1786, The company was originally known as Deakin and Moore from 1848–1879. Charles Deakin retired in 1881 and John Francis joined the firm. The company then became known as Deakin & Francis, becoming a limited company in 1902.
